- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs - Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them for the technicians - Provide estimates and quotes for repairs and services - Offer additional services or maintenance packages to customers - Schedule appointments and manage the service schedule - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles - Process payments and handle customer inquiries
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or Automotive Service Advisor is preferred - Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes - Familiarity with dealership operations and procedures - Understanding of diesel engine repair is a plus - Ability to offer and promote additional services to customers - Excellent mechanical knowledge to accurately assess customer concerns and provide accurate estimates - Experience in auto service management, including scheduling and coordinating repairs Skills:
- Ability to align customer needs with appropriate automotive services - Proficient in transmitting accurate information between customers and technicians - Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service experience This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for the automotive industry, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills.
